On 15 November, an online presentation of the Virtual Museum of the Black Sea Germans took place in Bonn as part of the 6th conference “Cultural Institutions in Dialogue: Homeland Associations and Cultural Institutions of Expellees in Dialogue with the Federal Government, Federal States, and the Academic Community.”
Conference participants had the opportunity to learn about the concept, structure, and early results of the project aimed at digitally preserving the historical and cultural heritage of the Black Sea German minority. The presentation sparked considerable interest among international partners and representatives of cultural institutions in Germany.
The project is being implemented by the Council of Germans of Ukraine in cooperation with Ukrainian and international partners and has received support within the House of Europe programme funded by the European Union.
