For the identification of settlements, colonies, and sites related to the historical and cultural heritage of the German minority living in Ukraine — particularly in the Odesa, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions — we used data from the Google Map created and maintained by Sandy Schilling Payne, which is based on records from Kherson Province (1803–1922).
